Oh a great day it was,
when in came the boss,
and said “Matey prepare to set sail”.
So we climbed aboard ship,
for quite a long trip,
and expected delay without fail.
But when Fred was on watch,
we were all in the scotch,
we didn’t see it coming.
Black walls of clouds,
high above the shrouds,
we didn’t find it that funny.
We fought off the gale,
not leaving a trail,
of where we had gone and been.
Sadly it was in vain,
it’s an incredible pain,
our ship will never again be seen.
So now here we lay,
hoping and praying,
that someone will find us here.
We expect there is land:
a tree but no sand,
but no-one has yet come near.
