Pirates over the ages have loved to steal treasure. They also enjoyed collecting trophies, in particular the hat of the ship or military port they were raiding.
Pirates loved to collect trophies
Capt. Kirk rebuilt his first pirate MOC, The Captain’s Tricorner. Some pirates are trying to get away with the Captain’s hat but they will have to make it through the guards first. Once back safely on their ship they can happily gloat and show off their new prize.
